    Holiday Fruit Cake

    Recipe Introduction

Ok, so I am the odd man/woman out. I love fruit cake, what can I say? As a teenager, I made this cake every Christmas and set it with all of my Mom's super cakes. Of course hers looked the best. After Christmas my Mom and I would sit down with some coffee and slice my Fruit cake. I think she and I were the only ones that could stand it. However, this recipe is so easy to make and so very good, that is, if you like fruit cake. Good luck and enjoy.

    List of Ingredients

    2-1/2 cups of sifted flour
    2 eggs lightly beaten
    1 teaspoon baking powder
1 jar of Borden Ready to use Mince Meat
    1-1/3 cups Eagle Brand Milk
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    2 cups mixed dried fruit
Butter a tube pan and line with wax paper and then butter the wax paper. Sift the flour and baking soda. Mix the eggs, mince meat and milk, walnuts, and fruits. Fold in dry ingredients. Pour into pans. Bake at 300 for 2 hours. Cool and remove paper carefully.
