Liverwurst + Cream Cheese Ball
1, 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
1 pound liverwurst (braunschweiger), cut in cubes
1/2 cup chili sauce
2 teaspoons prepared horeradish, (not smooth kind)
5 or 6 dashes hot sauce
sliced stuffed green olives
sliced black olives
finely chopped parsley
assorted crackers or small party bread slices
On a large plate or pie pan, mash cream cheese with
mayonnaise until smooth and spreadable. Set aside.
In large bowl, using electric mixer or food processor,
blend together liverwurst, chili sauce, horseradish and
hot sauce. Beat until well mixed.
Refrigerate, covered, until mixture firms up.
Turn mixture out onto a sheet of foil and mold into a ball.
Using a small spatula, frost with the cream cheese mixture.
Decorate with the olives and parsley.
Serve with crackers and bread slices.
