Onion Rounds

white bread, cut 12, 2 inch round shaped pieces from
...(it may be easier to use a 2 inch round glass
...to cut the round shapes from the bread slices)
12, thinly sliced, 2 inch round onions
12 tablespoons mayonnaise
paprika

Toast the bread.
Place a slice of onion on top of the toast.
Spoon the mayonnaise on top of the onion.
Broil until the mayonnaise begins to bubble.
Sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
Makes 12.
