Macaroni + Cheese Casserole, (6)
2 cups (8 ounces) elbow macaroni, cooked al dente

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 1/2 cups milk
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
In large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Gradually stir in milk.
Cook, stirring constantly, uyntil sauce thickens and
mixture begins to boil.
Add cheese; stir until cheese is melted.
In 2 quart casserole, stir together pasta and cheese
sauce.
Bake 30 minutes or until bubbly.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
