Romano Farfalle Pasta Skillet
4 cups farfalle, cooke al dente to package
...directions and drained, (8 ounces)
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
3 cups thinly sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup chopped prosciutto or ham
3/4 cup light cream
1 cup frozen peas, thawed
1/2 cup grated Romano or 1/2+1/2 mix
...of Romano + Parmesan cheese
Melt butter in a large skillet over a medium
heat. Add mushrooms and prosciutto. Saute for
5 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender. Add
cream and heat, almost, to boiling. Add peas
and heat through; toss with hot pasta and
cheese. Serve sprinkled with additional cheese,
if desired. Makes 6 servings.Recipe
