    campfire - Hot Dog Chili

    8-10 hot dogs
    1, 12 ounce can chili beans
    1 pacjet chili seasonings
    1, 16 ounce jar mild or hot chunky salsa
    ...chunky as you can find is best
    water

    Best when cooked in a kettle suspended on a tripod over a campfire..
    Add everything, including the juice from the chili bean can, except the water.
    Add water to the desired thickness desired.
    Slowly cook until you can't stand how good it smells anymore.
    I usually will allow it to simmer over a low campfire for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
