grilled - Barbeque Roast
2 pound beef roast
1/2 c. barbecue sauce, use your favorite
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
In a large resealable plastic bag, combine barbecue sauce,
sugar, vinegar, mustard, black pepper and worcestershire sauce.
Add roast, shake gently to coat with marinade and refrigerate
for at least one hour.
Pre-heat your gas grill or prepare your charcoal grill.
Remove meat from bag and place roast on grill. Discard the marinade.
Grill about 30 to 45 minutes to medium or medium-rare.
Allow roast to rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.
Serves 6.
