3 pounds chicken parts
1 garlice clove, cut in half
ground black pepper
2 tablespoons Canola oil
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice, (2 to 3 limes)
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon packed dark brown sugar
Recipe
Preheat grill or broiler.
Rinse chicken and pat dry.
Rub pieces with garlic then sprinkle with pepper.
Mix together the oil, lime and orange juices, soy sauce
and sugar together in a small bowl.
Smear 2/3's marinade on the chicken, coating well.
Set remaining mainade aside.
Place the chicken in a large glass bowl.
Cover and let marinate for 15 minutes at room temperature.
Place chicken in a broiler safe pan if broiling.
Grill or broil chicken on one side for 15 minutes.
Baste with remaining marinade.
Turn and grill untill cooked through, 10 to 15 more
minutes.
Let set 5 minutes before serving.
