    grilled - Mixed Potato Spears

    4 large 10 to 12 ounce each, baking potatoes,
    ...scrubbed and cut lengthwise into 8th's
    4 large 12 to 14 ounce each, sweet potatoes,
    ...scrubbed and cut lengthwise into 8ths
    4 Tablespoons + 2 Tablespoons Olive oil, divided
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    2 teaspoons grated orange peel

    Heat grill.

    Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add baking potatoes and
    cook 4 minutes (water will not return to a boil).
    Add sweet potatoes to pot and cook 5 minutes more, until baking
    and sweet potatoes are partially cooked.
    Drain potatoes and transfer to 2 large baking sheets.

    Combine 4 tablespoons oil, salt and pepper in cup; brush over
    both sides of potatoes.
    Combine remaining 2 tablespoons oil and orange peel
    in another cup; set aside.

    Grill potatoes over medium heat 10 to 16 minutes, turning every
    5 minutes until tender and browned.
    Transfer to serving plate and brush tops with reserved
    oil/orange mixture.
    Makes 8 servings.
