    cornedBeef - Honey Glazed Corned Beef

    1 Corned Beef (anywhere from 2 to 3.5 lbs)
    1 large onion,quartered
    4 tablespoons sugar
    whole garlic cloves (about 5)
    honey

    Place corned beef, 2 tablespoons sugar, and onion in a large pot,add water
    to cover
    Boil,reduce heat to simmer and cover
    cook for 1 and 1 half hours, drain water from pot,keeping onions and beef
    Repeat process,add 2 tablespoons of sugar, and water to cover
    beef,boil,reduce heat to simmer and cover cook for another 1 and 1 half
    hours.
    Remove corned beef and place in a baking pan
    Stud beef with cloves,and coat generously with honey,refrigerate over night
    covered
    Remove cloves,bake covered on medium or low heat. It can bake for a half
    hour or much longer,as your serving needs vary
    You can use the water to cook cabbage if desired as well.
    For a more deli like taste serve immediately after double boiling
    6 to 8 servings
