    ground - Budget Steak*, t+t

    Source of Recipe

from a wonderful elerly man I use to take care of
    ground - Budget Steak*, t+t

    4 slices bread, broken up
    2/3 cup milk
    1 egg
    1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce,
...(I like a little bit more in mine)
    1 small diced onion
    1 pound ground beef
    salt and pepper to taste
3 Tablespoons extra light Olive oil

This is Kind Of on the order of a meatloaf, but not.
I usually use an 8 cup measuring cup to mix this up,
as I like room to mix without things coming out.

Mix bread, milk, egg and worcestershire sauce together,
    very thoroughly.
Add onion, hamburger, salt and pepper and blend well.
Place oil into a large frying pan and heat.
Make a large round hamburger* and slide into pan.
Carefully brown the bottom. Then cut as if a pie and
carefully turn slices over. Brown other sides. Simmer
    until done.

*Or make small regular sized hamburger patties and
    cook as directed above.
