    ground - Burger Stroganoff

    1/2 Cup minced onion
    1/4 Cup oleo
    1 Pound hamburger
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 Teaspoons salt
    1/4 Teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
    1 Pound mushrooms, sliced
    2 Tablespoons flour
    1 Package sour cream
    1 Can cream of mushroom soup

    Preheat frying pan to 340 degrees. Cook onion in hot butter about 3 minutes,
    stirring occasionally. Add beef, garlic, salt, pepper, and mushrooms. Cook,
    stirring with a fork, until meat is broken up and has lost its red color.
    Sprinkle flour over beef and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Lower
    heat to simmer. Add sour cream and soup; heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
    Serve over hot cooked noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
    This recipe yields 4 servings.
