ground - Crescent Burger Sliders
Source of Recipe
?
This recipe is an adaptation of one that was found, about 30 years ago, on the back of a Lipton Onion Soup mix envelope. It tastes very similar to the infamous, little "White Castle" hamburgers.
Make a single batch by decreasing all ingredients by half. It is also, an inexpensive and very tasty way to feed a crowd!!
ground - Crescent Burger Sliders
2 pounds ground beef
2 pkgs. (1 box) original recipe Lipton Onion Soup mix
16 ounces grated cheddar or colby longhorn cheese
2, 8 ounce cans Pillsbury refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls
...(do not substitute...it would just not have the same, light texture!!)
Heat oven to 375.
In a large frying pan, brown ground beef with soup mix; then drain.
Stir in grated cheese and mix until cheese is melted.
Separate dough along triangle perforations.
Place on 2 ungreased large cookie sheets or 2 large pizza pans.
Stretch each individual dough triangle out, making it a bit larger.
Spread meat mixture over center of dough triangle.
Pull three corners of dough up and over meat and press down lightly so dough covers as much of the meat as possible.
It is possible that some of the meat mixture may not be covered with dough; this is ok.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until crust is brown.
Serve hot.
