    This was a recipe my mom had given me, with a
    few changes.

    ground - Hungarian Beef Goulash*

    1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    1 diced onion
    1/2 to 1 Tablespoon flour
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 teaspoon paprika
    4 good pinches garlic powder
    6 good pinches allspice
    1, 12 ounce can tomato paste
    4 1/2 cups water
    8 small potatoes, peeled and cut in 8ths
    1/2 of a 1 pound bag wide egg noodles

    Cook meat and onion together om a Dutch oven type
    pot, until meat is almost done. Mix in flour.
    Stir in the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and
    allspice. Stir in tomato paste.
    Add water and potatoes and stir. Cook until potatoes
    are tender and sauce is thickened.
    Cook noodles al dente to package directions; drain.
    Serve the meat mixture over top of the noodles.
