    Boasting just the right number of shortcuts, this saucy pasta dish should
    prove to be a keeper around your house.

    ground - Meat Sauce Macaroni

    1 pound ground round
    1 cup commercial pizza sauce
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    2 cups hot cooked elbow macaroni (about 4 ounces uncooked)
    4 Tablespoons (about 1 ounce) shredded reduced-fat sharp cheddar cheese

    Cook meat in a small nonstick skillet over medium/high heat until browned, stirring to crumble. Drain.
    Wipe drippings from pan with a paper towel; return meat to pan.
    Add sauce, salt, and pepper; cook 2 minutes.
    Add pasta; cook 2 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
    Sprinkle each serving with 1 tablespoon cheese.
    Makes 4 servings (serving size: 1 1/4 cups)
