ground - Meatloaf #_19, cheese lover style

2 pounds ground beef
2 slices of bread, diced
1 large onion, diced
1 egg
1/4 cup tomato sauce
dash of salt and ground black pepper
1, 4 ounce bag Mozzarella cheese
1 cup tomato sauce

In a mixing bowl combine ground beef, bread, onion, egg,
the 1/4 cup of tomato sauce, salt and pepper.
Place in large heavy duty pan and pat to shape.
Top with the 1 cup of the tomato sauce.
Bake for 55 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Remove from oven.
Sprinkle cheese on top of and replace in oven until the
cheese is melted.
Makes 8 servings.
