ground - Sliced Beef Bread Meal
1 loaf French bread
1 pound ground beef chuck
1 med. diced onion
1 10 3/4oz. can undiluted tomato soup
1 1/2 c. shredded cheese, your choice what kind
...(or 1 10 3/4oz. can undiluted Cheddar cheese soup)
Preheat oven to 350.
Cut bread in half lengthwise.
Scoop out the soft inside bread and break into bite size pieces.
Combine ground chuck and onion in a large saucepan and cook until the meat is browned.
Stir in soup, cheese and bread pieces.
Spoon the meat mixture into the bottom half of the bread shell.
Cover with top half of bread shell.
Wrap the loaf in foil and bake for 30 minutes.
To serve, cut into 10 slices.
