These wraps are packed with delicious steak and
scrumptious toppings to satisfy the heartiest appetite.
steak - Zesty Steak Wraps
1 1/2lbs. flank steak, pierced all over with a fork
1bottle (8 oz.) ORTEGA Taco Sauce - Mexican Style, divided
10(6-inch) flour tortillas, warmed
1Suggestion for Toppings:
shredded lettuce
diced tomato
diced onions
sour cream
sliced ripe olives
guacamole
crumbled bacon
shredded cheese
remaining taco sauce
COMBINE steak and taco sauce in non-metallic container;
marinade in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Pour off marinade; discard.
GRILL or broil steak about 7 minutes per side or until no
longer pink in the center. Thinly slice against the grain.
FOR each wrap, place flank steak slices, desired toppings
and taco sauce in a flour tortilla, making sure ingredients
don’t touch edges.
Fold the bottom edge of tortilla toward the center and
gently roll until tortilla is completely wrapped around the
filling.
Yields 5 servings
