4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 16oz. container sour cream
3 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. raisins, soaked in warm water until plumped, then drainRecipe
Preheat oven to 325. Grease a tube pan or two 8 1/2x4 1/2x2 3/4" loaf pans.
Mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar. Set aside.
In a larger bowl, mix the sour cream, eggs, and vanilla together.
Slowly add the dry mixture into the wet mixture and mix thoroughly.
Dough should be of a slightly sticky texture. Add the raisins and blend in.
Pour into baking pan(s).
Bake about 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until tester comes out clean.
Serves 10.
