    Peanut Butter Corn Sticks

    These are not too sweet. They accompany vegetable soups or stews very nicely.

    List of Ingredients




    Stir together and set aside:
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 level tablespoon baking powder
    1/2 tespoon salt
    1/2 cup yellow cornmeal

    In a separate bowl blend together:
    1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
    2 tablespoons honey
    1 beaten egg
    2/3 cup milk

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Oil a cornstick pan(gem).
    Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
    Fill the pan.
    OR you may use a shallow muffin tin and fill 2/3 full.
    Bake for 12 - 15 minutes.
    Makes 12.
