    2 tbsp. butter
    2 tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. mashed pumpkin
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    2 1/2 c. self rising flour, sifted

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400. Flour a baking sheet.
    Cream the butter and sugar together.
    Mix the pumpkin in.
    Blend in the egg.
    Slowly mix in the milk.
    Combine the flour with the pumpkin mixture.
    Knead the dough lightly on a floured surface.
    Roll the dough out to 1" thick.
    Use a round cookie cutter to cut the scones out.
    Place on the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
