Recipe Introduction

This is yummy. Excellent plain, or a cream cheese drizzle, or just dusted with confectioners sugar.

cakemix - Marble Pumpkin Cake

1 c. solid pack pumpkin
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 18.25oz. packaged yellow or white cake mix
4 eggs
3/4 c. sour cream
1/4 c. white granulated sugar
1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. water
powdered confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 375. Grease a 10 tube or bundt pan.
Combine the pumpkin and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Set aside.
Use a large bowl to combine the cake mix, eggs, sour cream, sugar, oil, and water.
Mix moistened. Then beat for 2 minutes.
Stir 2 1/2 c. of the cake mix batter into the pumpkin mixture until well combined.
Alternately spoon the plain and pumpkin batters into the baking pan.
Bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 20 minutes.
Then remove to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Drizzle with a warmed cream cheese frosting or dust with powdered sugar.
