scratch - Milky Way Crumb Cake

1 lb. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter (not margarine)
2 c. flour
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
6 Milky Way bars, cut into tiny pieces

Preheat oven to 350. Need a 9x12x2" pan.
Mix sugar, and butter together. Then add flour and mix into crumbs. Reserve 1 c. Sprinkle the rest into pan and spread around.
Combine the egg, baking soda, milk, vanilla and salt together. Pour into pan on top of crumbs.
Sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture.
Scatter candy bar pieces on the top of the cake.
Bake 30 - 35 minutes or until tester comes out clean.
