    scratch - Pumpkin Cake #3, (large, regular size)

    3 cups flour
    2 level teaspoons baking soda
    2 level teaspoons baking powder
    2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 teaspoon salt
    4 beaten eggs
    2 cups white granulated sugar
    1 1/4 cups cooking oil
    2 cups canned solid pack pumpkin
    1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional
    1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips, optional

    Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a bundt cake pan.
    Sift the flour, baking soda, + powder, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt
    together, twice. Mix the eggs and sugar together. Add the oil and pumpkin,
    and then blend in the flour mixture. Fold in pecans and chips. Bake for
    60 minutes, or until tester comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes,
    then turn out of the pan and onto a cooling rack. Serve plain or sprinkle with
    a little powdered confectioners sugar. Makes 10 - 12 servings.
