    cakeMix - Strawberry Cake w/Frosting + Strawberry Halves

    1, 2 layer white cake mix (18.25 ounces)
    1, 3 ounce package strawberry gelatin
    2/3 cup vegetable oil
    4 eggs
    3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
    4 ounces frozen strawberries, thawed and
    ...drained
    1/2 cup buttermilk

    Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
    Lightly grease an 9 x 13 x 2 inch cake pan.
    Combine the cake mix, strawberry gelatin, oil, eggs, flour,
    strawberries, and buttermilk and mix until just combined.
    Pour batter into pan.
    Bake for about 25 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick
    inserted in the center comes out clean.

    Note from Miss Molly:
    Excellent. I made a few changes. I used fresh strawberries
    and pureed them, then omitted the oil. I actually made this
    into cupcakes and they are excellent. They baked for about
    21 minutes.
