scratch - Prune Cake #3, spice, tube/bundt

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
3 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1, 8 ounce jar babyfood strained prunes
1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease and flour angel food/bundt pan.
Mix together - flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Mix sugar, oil, eggs and buttermilk.
Add to dry ingredients and then add prunes, pecans and vanilla.
Bake approximately 45 minutes, or until tester comes out clean.
Cool on rack.
Drizzle with some thinned icing or eat as is and enjoy!
