Make mints for weddings, anniversaries, baby showers,
or just about any get together. Use the gray rubber molds
to use for molding the mints at craft supply or kitchen
supply stores. There are heart shaped, rose shaped mold,
a swirling peppermint looking one, baby shoes, etc. They
look so pretty on trays with white paper doilies or package
them up as favors.
Mints
2 pounds powdered confectioners sugar
1, 8 ounce package cream cheese
1 teaspoon mint flavoring
dash paste food color
Mix and knead all ingredients like a dough.
Wear gloves or just use your fingers and butter
gloves/fingers and candy molds.
Roll candy dough to the size of marbles.
Press into the molds, level off back side with
spatula or fingers, and unmold onto wax paper
covered cookie sheets to dry.
Can be frozen ahead of time.
Makes approximately 100.
