Old English Toffee

2 cups butter
2 cups sugar
1 pound blanched almonds,
...1/2 whole or sliced and the other 1/2 ground
1 pound Hershey chocolate bars

Mix butter and sugar together and cook over medium high heat.
Add almonds and stir constantly until it reaches caramel color.
Pour into cookie sheet and let cool.
Melt chocolate in double boiler and spread over mixture on cookie
sheet.
Sprinkle with ground almonds while still warm.
