Ham, Dill + Potato Casserole
1, 4.9 ounce package Hungry Jack Sour Cream
.........................and Chives Potatoes
3 Tablespoons butter, divided
2 cups water
2/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
1/3 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
2 cups cooked ham, cut in cubes
1 cup frozen sweet peas
Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
Place potato slices in an ungreased 2 quart casserole.
Combine sauce mix, 2 tablespoons of butter, water, milk and
dill weed in a 2 quart saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Pour sauce mixture over potatoes in casserole dish.
Bake 20 minutes.
Melt the 1 tablespoon butter.
Add breadcrumbs and mix well.
Remove casserole from oven.
Stir in ham and peas.
Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture over top.
Return to oven and bake an additional 8 to 10 minutes or until
topping is golden brown and potatoes are tender.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving to thicken sauce.
Makes 6, 1/2 cup servings.
