    Serve with noodles or rice.

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    2 tbsp. + 1 tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. crushed oregano
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    3 stalks thinly sliced celery
    10 1/2 oz. can cream of celery soup
    1/2 c. apple juice
    cooked noodles or rice

    Preheat oven to 350. Need 1/2 quart baking dish.
    Saute onion in the 2 tbsp. butter for 4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and add to the ground beef.
    Brown bread crumbs in same butter and add to ground beef.
    Add milk, salt, pepper, oregano and garlic powder to ground beef and mix well.
    Roll into 1" balls.
    Brown meatballs in same pan and then place in the baking dish.
    Saute celery in 1 tbsp. butter for 6 minutes.
    Add soup and apple juice and stir.
    Pour over meatballs.
    Cover and bake for 45 minutes.
    Makes 4 - 6 servings.
