leftover - Ritzy Chicken Poppy Casserole
1, 8 ounce package softened cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1, 10 3/4 ounce can cream of celery soup
1, 10 3/4 ounce can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
6 cups diced + cooked chicken breasts
1 sleeve crushed ritz type crackers, (approximately 50)
1/2 cup melted butter, (1 stick)
1 tablespoon + 1 tablespoon loose poppy seeds, divided
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
You will need a 9x13x2 inch baking dish.
Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, soups, onion and
chicken together and pour into the baking dish.
Mix the cracker crumbs, butter and 1 tablespoon of the
poppy seeds together. Sprinkle over the baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of poppy seeds over all.
Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
Makes 10 servings.
