List of Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
1, 3 ounce package softened cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1 large egg yolk
1 1/2 teaspoons orange extract


Recipe

Preheat oven to 375. Lightly grease baking sheets.
Stir together the flour and salt. Set aside.
Use a large bowl to blend the shortening and
cream cheese together.
Add the sugar and mix until smooth.
Beat in yolk and extract.
Slowly add the flour mixture.
Roll into a log in the diameter of your cookie press.
Use a ribbon tip to pipe out 3" long strips, 1" apart
on the baking sheets.
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes, until lightly colored.
Makes 2 - 3 dozen.
