    List of Ingredients

    3 cups flour
    1 level tablespoon baking powder
    1 level tablespoon baking soda
    1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
    1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups room temperature butter, (3 sticks)
1 1/2 cups white granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
    2 cups sweetened flake coconut
2 cups chopped nuts, (8 ounces), pecans, walnuts

    Recipe

Heat the oven to 350. Use ungreased baking sheets.
Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in bowl. Set aside.
In a very large bowl, (8quart), beat the butter until smooth and creamy.
Gradually mix in the sugars and beat to combine.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Beat in the vanilla.
Stir in the flour mixture until just combined.
Add the chocolate chips, oats, coconut and nuts.
For each cookie, drop 1/4 c. of the dough, 3" apart, onto the baking sheets.
Bake for 17 - 20 minutes, until the edges are lightly browned - rotate the baking sheets halfway through baking time.
Remove cookies to a rack to cool.
    Makes 3 dozen.
For 6 dozen smaller cookies, use 2 tbsp. dough per cookie. Bake for 15 - 18 minutes.
