cakeMix/drop - Oatmeal Walnut Cookies

1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter, softened, (1 stick)
1/2 c. walnuts or pecans
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1, 2 layer box cake mix, white, or
...chocolate for chocolate chocolate chip

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place walnuts and oatmeal in a blender, grind fine.
Thoroughly mix with chocolate chips and softened butter.
Beat in egg, milk, and cake mix. Dough will be stiff.
Drop onto ungreased baking sheet by teaspoon full.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until done (tops should be soft to
touch). Remove from oven and cool for a few minutes before
removing to cooling racks.
Makes approximately 36 cookies.
