drop - Peanut Butter + Oatmeal Cookies

1/2 cup butter, (1 stick)
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter
3 cups quick cooking oats
waxed paper
...(must be wax for the cookies to set up)

Melt butter in pot. Add milk and sugar and stir.
Bring to a hard boil and boil for 1 1/2 minutes.
Remove from heat and quickly stir in the peanut
butter and oats. Drop onto wax paper. Allow a
little time for the cookies to set up.
