drop - Ricotta Cheese Cookies
2 sticks of butter, (1/2 pound)
2 cups granulated white sugar
15 ounces Ricotta cheese
3 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 cups flour
for glaze:
powdered confectioners sugar
water
sprinkles
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all ingredients with your hands, until dough
sticks together into a big ball. It will be sticky.
Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes.
Tops will be white, bottoms golden brown .
for glaze:
Mix enough confectioners sugar and milk together
to create an easily spreadable glaze. Stir over low
heat then spread over cooled cookies. Quickly top
with sprinkles.
