    roll - Fudge Fancies Cookies

    1 cup butter
    1 cup granulated white sugar
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    2 2/3 ups flour
    1 cup chopped nuts
    chocolate frosting for tops

    Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
    Mix and chill all ingredients except frosting.
    Roll into logs.
    Roll logs in nuts.
    Refrigerate.
    Then slice.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
    Cover tops with frosting.
