Even though these have very little sugar, they are fabulous.
roll/cut - Kiffles #5, sour cream
2 heaping cups flour
3 tablespoons white granulatged sugar
1 heaping tablespoon sour cream
1 cut butter
3 egg yolks
1 cup prune butter
Cream the butter, sour cream, and sugar together.
Add the egg yolks.
Then add the flour.
Knead with your clean hands until well blended. Add a
little more flour if needed.
Divide dough into 6 to 8 sections.
Pat each flat and then chill.
Roll out bwtween waxed paper.
Cut each section like a pie, as if cutting 8 slices.
Drop 1/2 teaspoon of the prune butter on the wide end
of each piece.
Roll wide end to point.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees F. until light brown.
Sprinkle with some powdered sugar, if desired.
