    Margaret's note: I make approximately 110-120 balls.

    roll/cut - Kiffles #6, sour cream

    5 cups flour
    2 cups butter, (4 sticks)
    6 egg yolks
    2 yeast packets
    1 cup sour cream
    1 teaspoon vanilla; or *note
    1 package premade nut or preserve for filling

    Use a pastry blender to combine the flour and butter
    together until looks like peas.
    Then add the remaining ingredients, exceptthe filling.
    Divide into 6 balls and then place in the refrigerator
    overnight before rolling out.
    Roll out in a mixture of a little flour and granulated
    sugar.
    Cut into wedges.
    Place filling of choice on wide end.
    Roll towards point.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 325 degrees F. until golden brown.
    Makes 110 cookies.
