    Source of Recipe

    Recipe Introduction

Cathedral Cookies are also called Stained Glass Cookies
    and are easy to make.

    List of Ingredients

sliced - Cathedral Cookies, no bake

    12 ounces chocolate chips
    1/2 cup butter, (1 stick)
2 eggs (egg substitute can be used)
    1/2 cup crushed nuts
1, 10 ounce package colored mini marshmallows
    powdered confectioners sugar

Melt chips and butter in a medium saucepan or in
microwave in 1-minute intervals. Add eggs and nuts.
Let cool completely (will take about 20 minutes).
    Then gradually add marshmallows.
Meanwhile, sprinkle the confectioners sugar on 3
    pieces of waxed paper.
Divide cookie mixture into 3 parts and place on the
    waxed paper.
Sprinkle more confectioners sugar to tops.
Roll and wrap in wax paper. Pin edges. They should
    look like 3 logs.
Refrigerate overnight. Then slice and serve.
    They look like cathedral windows.

    Times testing notes:
Although these are not baked, the egg is cooked
enough to kill bacteria when it is mixed in
with the melted chips and butter.
This is best eaten soon after it's removed from
the refrigerator, as it gets soft quickly.
