fresh - Chicken + Bacon w/Pasta
3 pounds chicken parts
6 slices bacon, cut into 2 inch pieces
1, 10 3/4 ounce can cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 cup sour cream
8 ounces pasta, cooked al dente
minced parsley for garnish, optional
Lay chicken in a 13x 9x2 inch baking pan.
Place bacon over chicken.
Bake at 350 degrees F, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
Pour off excess grease.
Combine soup and sour cream. Pour over chicken.
Continue baking for 30 minutes.
Place chicken in the center of a serving dish.
Mix pasta with the celery/sour cream sauce.
Place pasta around the chicken.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
Makes 6 servings.
