Strawberry Cream Cheese Pretzel Dessert
2 1/2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels
3/4 c. melted butter
3 tbsp. + 1 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
2 c. frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 6oz. pkg. strawberry gelatin
2 c. boiling water
2 10oz. pkgs frozen strawberries, thawed
or can use fresh and slice up
Combined crushed pretzels, melted butter, and the
3 tbsp. sugar. Press mixture into 10x15 inch ungreased dish.
Bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Let cool.
Mix the 1 c. sugar with cream cheese.
Fold whipped topping into cream cheese mixture.
Spread over pretzel crumb bottom. Chill.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; add strawberries
and stir well until melted. Chill.
When gelatin is almost set, pour over cream cheese layer. Chill.
Serves 24.
