Ham + Swiss Crescent Ring Around
1/4 c chopped parsley or 2 tbsp parsley flakes
2 tbsp finely chopped onion
2 tbsp prepared mustard
1 tbsp butter, softened
1 tsp lemon juice
3/4 c shredded Swiss cheese (@3 oz)
1 5 oz can ham, drained and separated into chunks
1 c fresh or frozen chopped broccoli,cooked and drained
1 8 oz can Crescent dinner rolls
Grated Parmesan cheese to taste
Heat to 350.
In a large bowl, combine parsley, onion, mustard, butter and lemon
juice; blend well.
Add cheese, cooked broccoli, and ham. Mix lightly. Set aside.
Separate the crescent dough into 8 triangles. On a greased cookie
sheet, place the triangles so the point is out, away from the
center of the pan.
Overlap the other points, so it is a joined circle.
Spoon the ham filling onto the ring, evenly distributed on triangles.
Fold the points of the triangles over the filling, and tuck the tips
under the edge of the dough.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and bake for 25 or 30 minute until
golden brown. Serve hot.
Can be made ahead - put together, cover and refrigerate for up to
3 hours. Bake 30 to 35 min.
