    Italian Crescent Casserole

    1 1/2 pounds hamburger
    1 small onion, chopped (or minced)
    1 small can mushrooms
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1 jar ragu spaghetti sauce
    4 ounces sour cream
    6 ounces shredded provolone or mozzarella
    1 package crescent rolls
    parmesan cheese

    In skillet, brown hamburger and onion; drain. Add
    mushrooms. Add enough Ragu to make a very thick
    consistency mixture. Place in 9x13 pan and spread
    out evenly. Mix sour cream and shredded cheese;
    dollop over top of meat mixture and smooth out as
    evenly as possible. Open crescent rolls and lay on
    top of casserole. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
    Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes, or until
    crescent rolls are brown.
