Crockpot - Caramel Apples

List of Ingredients
4 large tart apples, cored
1/2 c. unsweetened apple juice
8 tbsp. packed brown sugar
12 red hot (cinnamon) candies
4 tbsp. butter
8 caramels, unwrapped
1/4 tsp. wround cinnamon
whipped cream, optionalRecipe
Peel 3/4" off the top of each apple; place in a crockpot/slow cooker.
Pour the juice over apples.
Fill the center of each apple with 2 tbsp. of the sugar, 3 red hots, 1 tbsp. of the butter and 2 caramels.
Sprinkle with the cinnamon.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 - 6 hours or until the apples are tender.
Serve hot with whipped cream, if desired.
Makes 4 servings.
