crockpot - Hungarian Goulash #2

1 1/2 lb. stewing beef, cut into 3/4" pieces
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 c. water
1 16oz. can tomato sauce
2 chopped onions
1 clove chopped garlic
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp. + 1/4 tsp. + pinch allspice
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. beef bouillon
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 c. sour cream

In a skillet, brown beef in oil.
Place all ingredients except sour cream in the bottom of crockpot/slow cooker.
Cover and cook for 8 to 10 hours on low.
Add sour cream for the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Serve over noodles.
Makes 4 servings.
