crockpot - Spanish Rice
1 medium chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
3 stalks chopped celery
1, 28 ounce can diced tomatoes, or
...whole tomatoes chopped fine
1, 16 ounce can tomato sauce
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoned salt
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cups uncooked converted rice
Place all the ingredients in a crockpot/slow cooker
and stir thoroughly.
Cover and cook on low for 7 - 9 hours, or on high
for 3 hours.
When serving, stir in grated cheese and sprinkle on
top, if desired.
