    List of Ingredients




    6 slices bacon, cut in 1/2" pieces
    1 pound white meat turkey, cut into 3/4" pieces
    1 med. diced onion
    1 med. sliced carrot
    1 med. stalk chopped celery
    2 10oz. cans low fat chicken broth
    1 10 3/4oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1/4 tsp. marjoram
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1 1/4 c. uncooked wild rice

    Recipe



    Cook the bacon in a non stick frying pan until crisp. Remove from the pan and drain, saving 1 tbsp. of the grease.
    Place the broth, soup, herbs and bacon in the bottom of a crockpot/slow cooker.
    Cook the turkey, onion, carrot and celery in the reserved grease for 3 - 4 minutes.
    Add the turkey mixture to the crockpot.
    Stir slightly.
    Cover and cook on low heat for 6 - 7 hours, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
    Makes 6 servings.
