Crockpot - Wild Rice Soup

List of Ingredients
1/2 c. uncooked wild rice
1 lb. diced bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. chopped celery
3 cans cream of celery soup
1 4oz. can mushrooms, drained, optional
2 14 1/2oz. cans chicken broth
Recipe
Wash rice and cook in boiling water for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Fry the bacon until almost crisp.
Saute the onions, peppers and celery in bacon fat and then drain.
Place everything in the crockpot/slow cooker and stir.
Cook on high for 3 hours, or on low for 8 - 10 hours.
