crockpot - Beef + Potato Casserole
1 pound lean ground beef
1, 5 1/2 ounce package scalloped potatoes
1, 16 ounce can diced tomatoes
1, 10 1/2 ounce container pizza sauce
1/2 cup water, or more if too dry
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 cup Mozzarella cheese, in cubes
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Brown beed in skillet and drain.
Combine beef with DRY sauce mix from scalloped potatoes package,
the tomatoes, pizza sauce, water, salt, oregano, basil and garlic powder in
in the crockpot/slow cooker.
Stir in dry potato slices. Cover and cook on Low for 5 hours.
Turn control to high and stir in cubes of mozzarella cheese. Top with the
Parmesan cheese. Cover and cook on high for another 15 minutes.
